Henry Mancini was a remarkable composer who achieved great success during his lifetime. He was nominated for a staggering 72 GRAMMY® Awards, winning 20 of them, and 18 Academy Awards® winning four. Mancini was also honored with a Golden Globe® Award and nominated for two Emmy® Awards. His musical works include "Moon River" from Breakfast at Tiffany's, The Peter Gunn Theme, and music from The Pink Panther. In addition to these accomplishments, he also recorded over 90 albums, conducted more than 600 symphony performances (including several for the Royal Family), and wrote two books. His immense talent was celebrated world-wide and his music will continue to bring joy to generations to come.
